There are A LOT of Registry Cleaner Programs out there. Choosing the wrong one could make your PC run slower or even worse install Spyware on your PC. The products I reviewed on this page all worked perfectly and were spyware free.
Registry Cleaner Software is a software program that fixes your computer registry errors.
What is The Windows Registry?
Your computers registry is a database which stores every settings and every options for the operating system. This includes Software programs, hardware devices, file folders and others. The registry is very large and very complex. Over time as these settings get changed, files get deleted, programs get installed and removed, hardware gets replaced, little fragments are left behind and never completely removed causing the registry to be larger then it should be which usually causes the PC to slow down, lock up, crash or stop working completely.
Is Using Registry Cleaner Software Complicated?
No. When I first used a Registry Cleaner I also thought it would be complicated but it was surprisingly simple. If you can install software and open programs you can fix your own registry errors with a few clicks of the mouse!
Your PC is likely infected with Windows registry errors if it has ever experienced any of the problems:
• PC runs much slower than when you first bought it
• PC keeps crashing at critical times
• Unable to remove a software using add/remove dialog
• PC doesn't shutdown correctly
• PC doesn't startup correctly
• PC needs frequent rebooting
• Getting the "Blue Screen of Death"

So even if you think your system is fine, you can Scan it to find out. I was surprised how many errors my system had the first time I ran the scan (I had 349 errors).

Great Interface and it found the most errors. It is one of the most costly products but you really do get what you pay for. The Fastest scan of them all, found the most errors and my computer ran noticably FASTER after cleaning with this program. This is a very good product.

Rated Best Product in its class this is my second choice. This Software found almost as many errors as Registry Fix. I Highly recommend this product as a second choice.

Error Nuker did a good job finding errors. It is one of the only pieces of software with a built in scheduler so you can have it automatically fix your PC on a schedule. It makes the bottom of the list because it needs an update to compete with the others.
